“The Underhanded FreeThrow” is a 2018 short film written and directed by Cynthia Wikler that takes place in the suburbs of Philadelphia.
Family trauma and trust issues run rampant when a young woman discovers the identity of her birth mother, sending both of their lives into disarray.
Booklight co-produced the film in 2017 alongside Wikler and Kem, handling crewing and shooting the film. Additionally, Booklight took over Post-Supervision for online editing, coloring and delivery.
